This sheet metal column is mounted on a tilting cube, which seems to be precariously balanced, ready to give way at any moment! The tilted angle of the upper shelf offers a variety of options for storing your books: they can be opened to display particular pages, stacked askew… Cultivating offsets, optical effects and interrogations, Nendo’s creations stand out with their simple design, essential lines, and the sobriety of the materials which create the lightweight and ethereal form.
