Max Shelf – Compagnie

This cheerful shelf features two essential components: a natural massive beach wood board that can be put in a painted MDF crate. Designer Olivier Chabaud imagined MAX shelves as colour pixels of scenery that can be put on a wall. The shelf is not fixed – it slides in and can be pulled inside the crate. This simple but intelligent construction allows for form variations and gives it a more or less deconstructed look. These fanciful, sleek shelves are perfect for tiding, storing, exposing things… and they are suitable for any room: kitchen, bathroom, living room, bedroom or entrance halls. MAX shelves are made in France, more specifically in the French department Jura. This set consists of a painted crate with a slit and a natural beach shelf (L 90 cm). MAX is also available in a double version consisting of two crates (a small one and a big one) and two shelves. The big crate features two slits where two shelves can glide in and create splendid wall compositions in tree diagrams.
